Reports Permissions

The Reports category controls access to SecurityTrax's reporting module. All report permissions are Yes-only toggles. The base Reports permission acts as a gateway -- without it, no individual report type is accessible.

Warning. Reports display unfiltered data. A user with access to a report can see all records in that report regardless of other permission restrictions (such as location-scoped customer permissions). Assign report permissions cautiously and only to users who should see company-wide data.

Gateway

Permission Access Levels What It Controls

ADT Operational Yes Access to ADT operational reports.
Calendar Events Yes Access to calendar event reports.
Customer Notes Yes Access to customer notes reports.
Customers Yes Access to customer reports.
Equipment Yes Access to equipment reports.
Funding Yes Access to funding reports.

Tips

  • The base Reports permission is the gateway. Grant it first, then enable the specific report types the user needs.
  • Reports are not filtered by other permissions. A user with the Customers report permission can see all customers, not just those at their assigned locations. Treat report access as a company-wide data privilege.
  • ADT-specific reports (ADT Financial, ADT Operational) are only relevant to companies that use ADT as a monitoring provider.
