Preferences

Use Preferences to control behavior and display options that apply only to your account. These settings do not affect other users.

The page heading is "Preferences" with the subheading "Choose how SecurityTrax behaves and displays information for your account."

Getting here

  • Click your avatar in the top-right corner, then choose My Account.
  • Click Preferences in the left-side Settings sub-nav.
  • Or navigate directly to https://portal.securitytrax.com/acme/settings/preferences.

Form fields

Customer navigation choices

Use Customer Navigation to choose where customer page navigation appears on large screens:

  • Header tabs — navigation appears in the customer header.
  • Left sidebar — navigation appears in a vertical sidebar to the left of the customer page content.

Both layouts flag sections that need attention with a red dashed underline on the matching navigation item (for example, an open ticket or work order). In the Left sidebar layout, the customer's tags and warning callouts appear at the top of the page content rather than across the full width, so the sidebar stays in place when a warning appears.

If Mobile Customer Tabs is turned off, customer navigation moves into the Menu flyout on small screens. If it is turned on, header tabs stay visible and scroll horizontally on small screens.

Saving

Click Save at the bottom of the form. SecurityTrax validates every field, saves the preferences, and shows a success toast: "Your changes have been saved."
