Replenishment
Requires.
- Inventory+ enabled, and
- Inventory Management / Assignments permission anywhere.
Replenishment is the auto-restock engine. Select a company, hierarchy, location, technician, or vendor, and SecurityTrax compares that target's inventory against configured Min and Base levels. Items below their target can be turned into purchase orders.
This tab only appears when your company has the Inventory+ add-on active. Without it, the tab is hidden and the auto-replenish workflow isn't available.
What the page shows
The first step asks what you want to replenish.
| Field | Required? | Type | Validation | Notes |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Type | Yes | Select | Must be one of the available target types. | Target types can include company, hierarchy, location, technician, or vendor depending on configuration. |
| Target | Yes | Select | Must match the selected Type. | The recipient or group SecurityTrax calculates restock needs for. |
After you click Next, SecurityTrax shows replenishment candidates. Columns vary slightly by configuration, but generally include:
- Recipient — who needs the restock.
- Equipment — what they're short on.
- On Hand — current count.
- On Order — what's already inbound.
- Min / Base — the configured thresholds (Min triggers the suggestion; Base is the refill target).
- Difference — how many units short.
From there you can create purchase orders for the selected candidates. Generated purchase orders open in Company Inventory so you can review and receive them like any other PO.
Configuring thresholds
Min and Base can come from recipient-specific settings or Equipment Templates, depending on how your company is configured.
