Account Classes

Requires. Administration Page; Account Classes with Create, Modify, or Delete for changes.

Account classes are the high-level customer categorization your company uses to distinguish residential from commercial, self-install from professional, standard from VIP. Every customer is assigned one account class, and the choice drives which billing rules, MMR amounts, work-order templates, and reporting groupings apply to that customer.

Getting here

  • From Admin → Catalogs, click Account Classes.
  • Or go directly to https://portal.securitytrax.com/acme/admin/cms/account-classes.

The list

Shows every account class with its name, status (active / inactive), and a usage count. Click a class to edit; click New account class to add one.

Name Yes Text 1–255 chars, unique Displayed throughout SecurityTrax.
Description No Text Internal clarification; not shown to customers.
Status Yes Select Active / Inactive Inactive classes stay valid on existing customers but don't appear on new records.
Default MMR Optional Select An active MMR Pre-fills the customer's MMR when the class is chosen.
Default contract term Optional Select An active Contract Term Pre-fills contract length.
