Consumer Financing

Requires. The Consumer Financing add-on must be enabled, an active Smart Home Pay LOS provider must be configured, the customer must be visible to you, and your user must be assigned to a group allowed to manage Consumer Financing applications.

The Consumer Financing page lets you submit and track financing applications for a customer. The page appears in the customer's Accounting sub-nav as Financing for users assigned to a group allowed to manage Consumer Financing. Company-wide application review is available from Accounting → Financing when Consumer Financing is enabled, an active Smart Home Pay LOS provider is configured, and the user has Company Accounting and Funding with View.

Getting here

  1. Open a customer record.
  2. Click Accounting.
  3. Click Financing in the accounting sub-nav.

Or navigate directly to https://portal.securitytrax.com/acme/customers/{customer-id}/consumer-financing.

Application list

The page heading is Financing Applications followed by the current result count.

Column What it shows
ID The SecurityTrax application ID.
Lender The configured financing provider.
Applicant The applicant's legal first and last name.
Amount Requested The requested loan amount.
Amount Financed The financed amount returned by the provider, when available.
Stage The provider-side application stage. Blank stages show as Not Submitted.
Status The SecurityTrax application status. Terminated applications show as a red badge.
Created When the application was created.
Actions View opens the application detail modal.

Filter and sort applications

Click Filter to open the filter flyout.

Field Required? Type Validation Notes
Sort No Select Must be one of the available sort fields. Options: ID, Created, Amount Requested, Amount Financed, Stage.
Per Page No Select Must be 10, 25, or 50. Defaults to 50.
Created Date From No Date Valid date. Includes applications created on or after this date.
Created Date To No Date Valid date. Includes applications created on or before this date.

Click Submit to apply the filter. Clear removes all filter criteria but keeps your current sort order and per-page setting.

Create a new application

Click New Financing Application to open the application modal.

The modal has three sections: Applicant, Address, and Offer.

Birthdate No Date Valid date. Pre-filled from the customer record when available.
Mobile Phone No Text Up to 15 characters. Pre-filled from the customer record when available.
Address No Text Up to 255 characters. Pre-filled from the customer record when available.
Apt/Suite No Text Up to 255 characters. Pre-filled from the customer record when available.
City No Text Up to 255 characters. Pre-filled from the customer record when available.
State No Select Two-character state value. Select -- to leave blank.
Zip/Postal Code No Text Up to 50 characters. Pre-filled from the customer record when available.
Gross Monthly Income No Number Minimum 0; maximum 999999.99. Use dollars and cents.
Amount Requested No Number Minimum 1; maximum 99999.99. Use dollars and cents.

Click Submit Application to create the SecurityTrax application and submit it to the provider. Click Cancel to close the modal without submitting.

Note. Smart Home Pay is issued by WebBank, an Equal Housing Lender.

View application details

Click View on an application row to open the detail modal. The detail modal can show:

  • The provider-side stage and status.
  • Amount requested, amount approved, amount financed, and amount funded.
  • Pending provider tasks.
  • Available offers when the application is in an acceptance stage.
  • A provider portal link when the provider returns one.
  • Provider errors if the latest status refresh failed.

Available actions depend on the provider stage:

Action When it appears What it does
Merchant Portal When the provider returns a portal URL. Opens the provider portal in a new tab.
Refresh Always available in the detail modal. Refreshes provider-side status and details.
Submit Application When an application exists in SecurityTrax but has not been submitted to the provider. Sends the application to the provider.
Terminate Until the provider marks the application as terminal. Sends a termination request to the provider.
Submit final amount When the provider stage allows final amount submission. Sends the final loan amount.
Submit installation details When the provider stage allows installation details submission. Sends the Alarm.com Account ID and Central Station Account Number.

Warning. Terminating an application sends a provider-side termination request. You cannot undo that action from SecurityTrax.
