Discount Affiliates
Requires. Administration Page to open the page. Discount Affiliates with Create, Modify, or Delete for changes.
Discount Affiliates are the affiliate or membership programs your company can track on a customer record. When at least one active discount affiliate exists, the customer Home tab can show the Discount Affiliate dropdown and Affiliate Member Number field in the Sale Information area.

- From Admin → Catalogs, click Discount Affiliates.

The list
The list shows every active or inactive discount affiliate that has not been deleted.
| Column | What it shows |

| ID | The internal ID for the discount affiliate. |
| Name | The name users see in customer dropdowns. Click the name to edit the entry. |
| Active | Whether the affiliate is available for selection on customer records. |
Use Filter to narrow the list by Name or Active status. Use New Discount Affiliate to add a new entry.

Click Save to apply changes. On an existing discount affiliate, click Delete to remove it from the list.
Customer record behavior
On a customer record, the Discount Affiliate and Affiliate Member Number fields appear only when at least one of these is true:
- At least one active discount affiliate exists.
- The customer already has a discount affiliate selected.
- The customer already has an affiliate member number entered.
If no active discount affiliates exist and the customer has no saved affiliate values, SecurityTrax hides both fields and does not overwrite them when the customer is saved.
Heads up. If a customer's selected affiliate is later made inactive, it still appears on that customer so saving the customer does not lose the existing value.
