Office Locations
Requires.
- Office Locations with View to see the list.
- Office Locations with Create to use + New Office Location.
- Office Locations with Modify to save changes.
Office Locations are the top-level scoping concept in SecurityTrax. Every user, customer, invoice, appointment, and most other records ultimately belongs to a location. Most permissions are evaluated per-location — a sales rep assigned to the Dallas location doesn't automatically see Houston customers. Many small companies have just one location; larger ones have many.
The page heading is "Office Locations".
Getting here
- From the Admin index, click Office Locations in the Organization section.
- Or navigate directly to

The Licenses sub-tab
Requires. The Licenses & regulations tracking feature must be enabled for your company, plus Office Locations with View.
When licenses are enabled, a Licenses link appears on the office location's edit page. Clicking it opens a dedicated sub-page showing every government license held by this specific office location — alarm-business license, occupational taxes, inspection certificates, etc.
Route: admin.locations.licenses with the location as the parameter.
Each license entry includes:
- License type — from your Licenses Info catalog.
- License number.
- Issue date and expiration date.
- Status — active, expiring, expired.
- Notes.
Add expiring licenses here so your compliance team gets alerts before they lapse.
Deleting an office location
Delete from the edit form (if your permissions allow). Office locations soft-delete — their historical records stay intact but they no longer appear in new-record dropdowns.
Warning. Deleting an office location orphans the customers and users currently attached to it. Before deleting, reassign them to another office location, or they'll be invisible to anyone who filters by active office locations.
