Customer Create Workflows
The Customer Create Workflows page lists the built-in workflow configs used by customer creation and lead conversion.
| Column | What it shows |
|---|---|
| ID | The workflow config ID. |
| Workflow | The workflow type, such as Standard, Single Page, Simple Sales, Smart Sales, or ADT. |
| Name | The display name for the config. This is what users see in workflow menus. Click it to edit the row. |
| Description | Optional summary text. |
| Active | Whether the config is enabled. |
Customer-create workflow types
| Workflow type | Where users see it | What it does |
|---|---|---|
| Standard | New from Workflow on the Customer List and at the top of the unsaved customer-create page | Opens the standard multi-step customer-create wizard. |
| Single Page | New from Workflow on the Customer List and at the top of the unsaved customer-create page, only when the config has customer-create custom fields | Opens a single-page customer form variant with configured custom fields. |
| Simple Sales | New from Workflow on the Customer List and at the top of the unsaved customer-create page | Opens the sales-focused wizard: Information, Qualify, Order, Equipment, Contacts, Payment Information, and Review. |
| Smart Sales | New from Workflow on the Customer List and at the top of the unsaved customer-create page | Opens the Simple Sales flow and adds Work Order, Schedule, and Next Step for post-sale setup. |
| ADT | New from Workflow on the Customer List and at the top of the unsaved customer-create page, only when your company has an active ADT monitoring company | Opens the ADT-focused wizard: Information, Qualify, Order, Payment Method, Work Order, Schedule, and Next Step. |
SecurityTrax only shows active, accessible configs in the customer-create dropdown. On guided customer-create workflows, the configured steps stay visible in the progress bar. If a user cannot perform a step, such as Equipment, Payment Information, Work Order, or Schedule, SecurityTrax shows an explanation and changes the primary action to Skip.
ADT PreCheck in customer-create workflows
ADT PreCheck is not a separate workflow type. It is a conditional section on customer creation.
When the company has an active ADT monitoring company, SecurityTrax shows an ADT PreCheck section before the regular customer fields. The section appears in the plain single-page customer form and in customer-create workflows that use the shared Information step: Standard, Single Page, Simple Sales, Smart Sales, and ADT.
The PreCheck checkbox is selected by default. If the user leaves it selected, the form requires the ADT PreCheck fields before creating the customer. After save, SecurityTrax starts the PreCheck in the background when the selected ADT monitoring company has PreCheck Order Enabled, and shows the result on the Qualify step for guided workflows that include it. Clearing the checkbox skips the PreCheck run and leaves the additional fields optional.
Lead-conversion workflows are separate from customer creation. Converting an existing lead to a customer does not use this customer-create PreCheck section.
