MMRs
Requires. Administration Page; Monthly Monitoring Rates - Full Control for changes.
MMR stands for Monthly Monitoring Rate — the recurring amount your company charges a customer every month. The MMRs area is actually three related catalogs, accessible from tabs on the main MMR page:
- MMRs — the top-level rate plans customers get assigned to (e.g. "Standard Residential — $29.99").
- MMR Items — the individual revenue line items that make up an MMR (monitoring, financing, warranty, interactive services, etc.).
- MMR Categories — the groupings that classify items (used for breakout reporting and the MMR picker filter).
If your company has the MMR breakout feature enabled, the customer's monthly rate is broken down by item — you'll see "Monitoring $20, Interactive $9.99" on the customer record rather than just a single total.
Getting here
- From Admin → Catalogs, click MMRs. You land on the top-level MMR list with tabs for Items and Categories across the top.

MMR Items tab
Each item has a name, default amount, category, item type (monitoring, financing, warranty, interactive, other), and an active flag. Items are the building blocks that MMRs reference.
MMR Categories tab
Categories are simple buckets — name and active flag. They group MMRs for breakout reporting and for the MMR picker filter rules.
